What this is

Comfrey (Symphytum officinale). Knitbone, boneset, the deep-rooted Saturnian herb of Capricorn, with a hand of Venus, that mends what is broken. Set on fractures by the country bone-setter and tucked in the luggage in old lore to keep the traveller and the bags safe on the road.
