She sits between the two pillars Boaz and Jachin — severity and mercy — and the veil behind her hides the Holy of Holies. Her letter Gimel means 'camel' — the animal that crosses deserts without water, drawing on its own reserves. Card II because all true knowledge has a second source, the one not seen: intuition, inheritance, dream.
