Her Hebrew letter Daleth means 'door' — the passage between Chokmah (wisdom) and Binah (understanding), between father and mother. She is the first great mother of the deck: desire as a cosmic principle, the fact that creation wants to continue. Venus ruled, Earth-green, wheat at her feet.
