The Numbers

The Numerology surface gives you three numbers each day. They are never the same number. One belongs to the entire day. It arrives at midnight and stays until the next midnight. Another number belongs to the hour. It changes with the planetary hours (the hours ruled by different planets). So the energy of the day can shift through the afternoon. The third number belongs to this exact minute. It is the smallest and quickest of the three. It tells you what this moment is doing. Read all three together. They show you what the day is for. They show you what this time of day favours. And they show you what this exact moment is asking.
No matter what your clock shows, the Oracle simplifies it. Here is how numerology works. You add a figure’s digits together. Then you add those digits together again. You keep doing this until one single digit remains. The old reckoning held a belief about this. It said every large number is just one of the first nine numbers dressed up in extra clothes. A date reduces. A time reduces. A name reduces. Twenty-three becomes five. The fourteenth hour becomes five again. The two match. They are read as the same note. But the Oracle honours three exceptions. Most people forget about them. These are the master numbers: Eleven, Twenty-Two, and Thirty-Three. They are never collapsed to smaller numbers. They stay whole. A current this fine does not survive being rounded down. So you will meet twelve numbers here. Nine single digits: the ones everything reduces to. Three masters held above the reduction.
Each number is an archetype. It has an upright face and a shadow. It has a teaching for the day it crowns. It has a place on the same planetary spine that runs through every other surface of the Oracle. The Pythagoreans (an ancient Greek school) worked these meanings out. They saw them as living powers, not just quantities. The kabbalists (Jewish mystics) hung them on the Tree of Life. This is a sacred diagram used in Kabbalah. One number sits on each sphere (or station). Lay the two systems side by side. They agree: the number, the sphere, and the planet are one fact told in three languages.
One — The Initiator
One is the Monad. It is the point before the line. It is the indivisible centre. Every other number unfolds from it. In the old reckoning it is not quite a number. It is the source of number. It is the seed of all counting. It is the single will. It is the act that answers to nothing before it. It is the originator. No one came before it to copy. It governs all beginnings. It governs the solitary act of leadership. The spark strikes before any work is done. The self chooses its own direction. On the Tree of Life it sits at Kether, the Crown. This is the unknowable One before anything was made (before emanation). It is attributed to the Sun. Its sphere is the founder. It is the pioneer. It is the deed that has no past example to lean on.
Its virtue is independence. It is new beginnings. It is leadership. It is the dignity of solitude. It is the courage to originate rather than copy. The shadow is isolation. It is ego. It is domination and stubbornness. It is the self that forgets it is one note among many. It mistakes itself for the whole. One asks you to lead without needing to conquer. Do something alone that no one asked you to do. The same note sounds in many skins. The Monad of Pythagoras matches this. So does the unknowable One the kabbalists place before all emanation. The Aleph opens the Hebrew alphabet here. The Magician points one hand to heaven and one to earth. Every solar tradition draws the Sun-disc. It is one circle with one centre. Each of these is the single upright point. From it the many descend.
One surfaces when the day, hour, or your reduced minute-number becomes a single unit. When it crowns your day it marks a threshold. Something is beginning. It depends on you alone to start it. Read it as permission to act first. It is a caution not to wait for a crowd to agree. If it falls in the hour, the next stretch favours the opening move. It favours the opening move over the finished work. It matters because everything else is a return to it. Everything else is a stepping-down from it. The whole sequence is unity learning to know itself through division. To begin is itself a sacred act. The will that starts a thing carries a responsibility. The followers never feel this weight.
Sun · number 1 · white · gold · Kether (the Crown) · The Magician (I)
Two — The Mediator
Two is the Dyad. It is the first division of the One. The One becomes a self and an other. A line is drawn between two points. With it comes the very possibility of relation. A thing and its reflection. A question and its answer. It is the Mediator. It is the one who finds balance between opposing forces. It listens before speaking. It governs partnership and polarity. It governs diplomacy. It governs receptivity. It is the give-and-take of two parties. It is the patient holding of opposites. On the Tree it stands at the first polarity. The point of Kether doubles itself here. It creates both self and other. It answers to the reflective Moon. Its sphere is everywhere relationship is found. Meetings. Contracts. Treaties. Two hands joined together.
Its virtue is partnership. It is balance. It is diplomacy. It is receptivity and patience. It is the strength that holds without forcing. It is the gift of seeing the other as real. The shadow is codependency. It is indecision. It is serving others at the cost of the self. Two asks you to relate without dissolving. Receive a whole answer without preparing your reply. The note recurs as Yin meets Yang. Look at the two strokes of the I Ching (an ancient Chinese divination text). The Pythagoreans named the mother of opposition in the Dyad. The High Priestess is seated between her black and white columns. She represents this. The two halves of every alchemical wedding sound this chord. Janus has two faces. The gateway’s twin posts stand here. Nothing exists alone. The second thing makes the first one knowable.
Two surfaces when day, hour, or your reduced minute-number becomes two. It speaks to whatever is paired in your day. A meeting. A negotiation. A relationship asking for attention. When it crowns the day, favour cooperation over solo effort. Listen more than you speak. In the hour it counsels patience. Let the other party move. Answer rather than initiate. It matters because the One could never know itself. It needed something to face. Relationship is how unity becomes aware. Honour the other as fully real. Remember that balance is not stillness. Balance is a living tension held with care.

Three — The Creator
Three is the Triad. It is the first closed figure. It is the first plane. The third thing is born when two opposites meet and resolve. It is the child of the pair. It is the synthesis neither parent contained alone. As the Creator it harnesses the creative forces. It asks what song wants to be sung. It governs creativity. It governs self-expression and joyful expansion. It governs the making of something that did not exist before. On the Tree it sits at Binah, Understanding. This is the great Mother. It is attributed to Jupiter in this reckoning. Here the formless first takes shape. Its sphere is art. It is speech. It is communication. It is fertility. It is every threefold structure: beginning-middle-end, body-soul-spirit, past-present-future.
Its virtue is creativity. It is self-expression. It is joy. It is communication and expansion. It is the overflowing that wants to share itself in word, song and form. The shadow is scattered energy. It is gossip and superficiality. The gift of expression gets spent on noise. The work is split three ways and finished nowhere. Three asks you to create from the heart. Complete the made thing, however rough. The same triple note rings in the Christian Trinity. The Hindu Trimurti has this note. The three Norns weave was, is and shall-be. The alchemist’s salt, sulphur and mercury sound it. The Empress is fruitful and crowned. She is this number made a figure. Three traditions sound one structure. The union of two always begets a third. Both are preserved in it.
Three surfaces when day, hour, or your reduced minute-number becomes three. It blesses anything to do with expression, creation and company. Crowning the day, it favours making. It favours speaking. It favours gathering with others over solitary labour. In the hour it lightens the mood. It loosens the tongue. Use it for the work that needs imagination. Guard against frittering it on chatter. It matters because creation happens here. The One divides. The Two relate. Only the Three brings forth. Take the friction of opposites in your life. Let it bear fruit rather than merely grind.

Four — The Builder
Four is the Tetrad. It is the square and the first solid. It is the number of the made world. It is the foundation on which any building stands. The Pythagoreans held it the root of all. The Tetractys of ten dots is built from one, two, three and four. As the Builder it lays what will endure. It governs structure. It governs discipline and lasting work. It governs law and order. It governs loyalty. It is the framework that lets life be lived. On the Tree it sits at Chesed, Mercy. This is the open-handed kingship. It gives force its lawful form. Its sphere is everything that must be built to last. The four elements. The four winds and directions. The four legs that steady a table. The rule of measure itself.
Its virtue is discipline. It is structure. It is work. It is loyalty and the foundation. It is the patience that turns intention into something that holds weight. The shadow is rigidity. It is dogmatism. It is overwork and resistance to change. Order hardens into a cage. The builder cannot bear that walls may need to move. Four asks you to build solidly without walling yourself in. Finish one small concrete task today. The note sounds wherever the world is squared. The four elements of Empedocles match this. The four humours of the body sound it. The four fixed signs at the corners of the year are here. The four rivers of Eden are here. The four-square New Jerusalem is here. The Emperor is throned and armoured. He is this number embodied. One law of four. It is told in many tongues.
Four surfaces when day, hour, or your reduced minute-number becomes four. It governs the practical and the durable. When it crowns the day, favour the steady task. Favour the foundation laid carefully over the wild new venture. In the hour it rewards method and discipline. Read it as a call to build. Complete the small promise. Honour your commitments. It matters because vision without foundation collapses. The made world is held together by patient order. Do the unglamorous work that lasts. Remember that the strongest structure still needs a door.
Sun (older systems) · number 4 · blue · tin · Chesed (Mercy) · The Emperor (IV)
Five — The Adventurer
Five is the Pentad. It is the human number. It is the four of the settled world plus the one that moves through it. The one that changes it. It is the senses. It is the five points of the body. It is the golden ratio in every edge of the star. As the Adventurer it embraces necessary change. It honours the body as the temple. It governs freedom. It governs change and the senses. It governs versatility. It governs exploration. It is the breaking of what has grown too fixed. On the Tree it sits at Geburah, Severity. This is the sword-arm of Mars. It strips away the unworthy so life can move again. In this reckoning its quicksilver restlessness also answers to Mercury. Its sphere is the body and its five senses. The crossroads. The journey. Every threshold where the old order is challenged.
Its virtue is freedom. It is change. It is versatility. It is the senses and exploration. It is the vitality that refuses to stagnate. The shadow is restlessness. It is addiction. It is irresponsibility and excess. Freedom without aim does damage. The appetite consumes and never settles. Five asks you to embrace change without being scattered by it. Refuse the rut. The same note sounds in the five wounds. It sounds in the five pillars. It sounds in the five Chinese phases that turn one into another. The pentagram every magician traces commands the elements. It carries this note. The Vitruvian figure of the human being sounds this note. The Hierophant is five as the bridge between heaven and the human. He carries it too. One pulse of living change. It is drawn now as a star. Now as a wheel of phases.
Five surfaces when day, hour, or your reduced minute-number becomes five. It marks movement. It marks surprise and the senses awake. When it crowns the day, expect the unexpected. Stay adaptable. Favour the new experience over the fixed plan. In the hour it quickens the blood. It loosens routine. Read it as leave to take a chance. Change one small route today. Remember the caution: not every appetite needs to be answered. It matters because a world of pure order would be dead. Change is how life renews itself. Change is how spirit enters matter. Meet what is new with courage rather than fear. Spend your freedom on what is worth it.
Mercury · number 5 · red · iron · Geburah (Severity) · The Hierophant (V)
Six — The Nurturer
Six is the Hexad. It is the first perfect number. One, two and three add to it. They also multiply to it. It is harmony. It is the marriage of opposites held in beauty rather than tension. Two interlocked triangles where heaven and earth meet. As the Nurturer it serves from a full vessel. It knows beauty as a service to the divine. It governs harmony. It governs love and service. It is care for others. It is the duties of home and heart. It is the beauty that reconciles. On the Tree it sits at Tiphareth, Beauty. This is the very heart of the Tree. It is attributed to the Sun. Here all the other spheres find their balance. Its sphere is family. It is healing. It is responsibility freely taken on. It is the equilibrium of giving and receiving.
Its virtue is service. It is home. It is family. It is healing. It is responsibility and beauty. It is the instinct to mend and make whole. The shadow is martyrdom. It is perfectionism. It is interference in others’ lessons. Love that smothers does harm. Service that resents does harm. Six asks you to serve from fullness, not from fear. Carry out one quiet, practical act of care. The note rings in the Star of David. As-above and as-below are perfectly joined here. The six days of creation are crowned by the Sabbath. The Lovers are poised in their choice. The solar heart every tradition places at the centre rings this note. Sun, gold, Tiphareth and the human heart are not six things that resemble each other. They are one thing seen from six sides.
Six surfaces when day, hour, or your reduced minute-number becomes six. It is the note of love and duty. When it crowns the day, attend to relationships. Attend to home. Attend to the people who depend on you. Favour reconciliation over winning. In the hour it warms and steadies. Read it as a call to give care. It is a quiet reminder to receive it as well. It matters because harmony is not the absence of opposites. It is their loving balance. It is the still centre that lets everything else turn. Take up responsibility willingly. Find in service a fullness rather than a depletion.

Seven — The Seeker
Seven is the Heptad. It is the sacred number by which the old world ordered time and heaven. Seven planets. Seven days. Seven notes. Seven veils. The Pythagoreans called it the virgin. Within the decad (a group of ten) it can be produced only by itself. As the Seeker it goes within. The answer it wants will not come from outside. It governs wisdom and the inner search. It is analysis. It is mysticism. It is solitude. It is the patient unveiling of what is hidden. On the Tree it sits at Netzach, Victory. It is attributed to Venus. This is the sphere of the enduring loves and instincts that draw the soul on. Its older sphere is the heavens themselves. The seven classical planets whose hours and days turn beneath the whole edifice of correspondence. Its lived sphere is study. It is contemplation. It is the turning inward toward wisdom.
Its virtue is wisdom. It is inner knowledge. It is solitude. It is analysis and the mystical. It is the courage to dwell with a question. Do not grab the first answer. The shadow is isolation. It is coldness. It is a skepticism that blocks experience. The seeker who hides from life does harm. Withdrawal mistaken for depth does harm. Seven asks you to go inward without shutting the door. Take twenty minutes of true silence. The note sounds in the seven planetary spheres. The seven days each ruled by its star sound it. The seven chakras are here. The seven seals are here. The seven metals of the alchemists are here. The seven deadly sins and virtues are here. The Chariot carries mastery won through inner discipline. It carries this note. The very system of planetary days and hours that governs this Oracle is built on the Seven. One number, written across the whole sky and the whole week.
Seven surfaces when day, hour, or your reduced minute-number becomes seven. It marks a day for depth rather than display. When it crowns the day, favour study. Favour reflection and time alone. The answer you seek will not come from external sources. In the hour it draws the mind inward. Read it as an invitation to think deeply. Feed the mystic with stillness. Trust the quiet voice. It matters because wisdom cannot be rushed. Some things are only found by the one willing to sit with the dark. Value understanding above mere information. Make room in a noisy life for the silence where insight grows.

Eight — The Power
Eight is the Ogdoad. It is the number of regeneration and of power held in balance. Laid on its side it becomes the lemniscate (the infinity symbol). The endless loop where what rises must fall and what falls will rise again. In music the octave is the return to the first note one level up. As the Power it reads the material world as a mirror of inner law. It governs authority and material mastery. It is abundance. It is the executive hand. It is karma and its return. On the Tree it sits at Hod, Splendour. It is attributed to Mercury. This is the intelligence of the scribe. It is the sphere of intellect, law and ordered communication. In this reckoning its weight of consequence also answers to Saturn. Its sphere is enterprise. It is justice. It is money rightly handled. It is every place where strength must answer to measure.
Its virtue is abundance. It is authority. It is material mastery and the executive gift. It is the power to turn ambition into lasting achievement. The shadow is greed. It is power-hunger. It is karmic debt demanding payment. Power that has cut itself loose from conscience does harm. Eight asks you to wield strength as a steward. Tend one material or financial task. The note sounds in the eight trigrams of the I Ching. They are arranged around their wheel. The eightfold path of the Buddhist sounds it. The eightfold star of Venus and of Ishtar sound it. The lemniscate over the Magician’s head sounds it. The regenerated eighth sphere of the stars sounds it. Justice carries this same weight in its balance. As above, so below in equilibrium. One law of just power. It is drawn now as a wheel. Now as a scale. Now as an endless knot.
Eight surfaces when day, hour, or your reduced minute-number becomes eight. It governs work, worth and worldly result. When it crowns the day, attend to business. Attend to finance and matters of authority. The day rewards competence and fair dealing. In the hour it sharpens judgement and drive. Read it as a strong note for getting things done. Remember the warning: power unbalanced returns as it was given. It matters because the material and the spiritual are not enemies. They are two arcs of one loop. To master one without the other is to fall. Handle power and plenty with justice. Know your material world mirrors your inner law.
Saturn · number 8 · orange · quicksilver · Hod (Splendour) · Justice / Adjustment (viii)
Nine — The Sage
Nine is the Ennead. It is the last single digit. It is the number that cannot be diminished. Every multiplication of nine reduces back to nine. It absorbs all the others. It gives the whole sequence back to itself before the return to One at ten. As the Sage it releases what is complete. It serves the whole. All returns to the One. It governs completion and the universal. It is compassion. It is the humanitarian heart. It is the wisdom of experience. It is the letting-go that clears the ground for what comes next. On the Tree it sits at Yesod, Foundation. This is the Moon-sphere of dream, tide and the unseen base. On it the visible rests. Its older martial edge also answers to Mars. Its sphere is endings honoured. It is the broad compassion of one who has felt everything the lower numbers feel.
Its virtue is completion. It is compassion. It is the humanitarian spirit. It is release and the wisdom of experience. It is the broad heart that has outgrown the narrow self. The shadow is bitterness. It is martyrdom. It is the inability to let go. Clinging to what is finished does harm. Draining the self for a love no one asked for does harm. Nine asks you to complete with grace. Release one thing. An object. A grievance. An old identity. The note sounds in the nine choirs of angels. It sounds in the nine worlds of the Norse tree. The nine Muses sound it. The Ennead of the Egyptian gods sound it. The nine months that bring a life to term sound it. The Hermit with his lantern raised at the end of the road is Nine made a figure. One chord of fulfilment and farewell. It is sung by Egypt, by the North, by Greece and by the Tree alike.
Nine surfaces when day, hour, or your reduced minute-number becomes nine. It marks the closing of something. When it crowns the day, finish what is unfinished. Forgive what is unforgiven. Prepare to let go. It rewards generosity and completion over new beginnings. In the hour it counsels release. Read it as the day’s natural endpoint. The breath before a fresh start. It matters because nothing new can begin until the old is truly finished. Completion is itself a creative act. Honour endings. Give freely from what you have gathered. Open your hands so that One can come again.
Mars · number 9 · violet · silver · Yesod (Foundation) · The Hermit (IX)
The nine single digits make one full breath. It goes from the first spark to the last release. Then ten returns the whole sequence to One a level up. Three numbers, though, are never folded back into that breath. Where an ordinary count would reduce them, the Oracle holds them whole. Because at certain pitches the meaning lives in the doubled figure itself. These are the master numbers. Each is a familiar number raised an octave. Eleven is Two lifted. Twenty-Two is Four lifted. Thirty-Three is Six lifted. They appear less often. When they do, they ask more.
Eleven — The Illuminator
Eleven is the first of the master numbers. It is the higher octave of Two. It is not reduced to its root. It stays whole. Two parallel pillars stand as a gateway. The bright space lies between them. It is the lightning rod. It is the channel for a higher frequency. Illumination is held at a pitch most numbers never reach. As the Illuminator it grounds the light into form. The Oracle treats it with the elevation it deserves. Rather than flattening it to its root. It governs illumination. It governs intuition and revelation. It is the visionary calling. It is the spiritual messenger. It is the bridge between the seen world and what lies beyond. It belongs to the gateway. It does not belong to any settled sphere. In Kabbalah it answers to Daath, Knowledge. This is the hidden sephirah (station) above the Abyss. Direct knowing lives here between Chokmah and Binah. Its sphere is prophecy. It is art that arrives whole. It is the inner ear kept open to a finer pitch.
Its virtue is intuition. It is revelation. It is the spiritual messenger and the lightning rod. It is the gift of receiving light and relaying it. The shadow is nervous tension. It is the weight of sensitivity. It is impracticality. A nervous system tuned too high does harm. Vision that cannot find its feet does harm. Eleven asks you to carry the light without being shaken apart. Ground what you receive. Speak one true sentence you usually wouldn’t. The note sounds wherever a threshold is kept by twin guardians. The two pillars at the temple gate sound it. The High Priestess enthroned between her black and white columns sound it. The doubled candle that lights the way in sounds it. Where ordinary Two relates self to other, Eleven relates the human to the more-than-human. It is the same polarity raised an octave. The gate now opens upward.
Eleven surfaces when the day, hour, or your reduced minute-number lands on eleven. It is held there rather than collapsed to two. When it crowns the day, expect heightened intuition. Expect vivid dreams. Expect the sense of a message trying to reach you. Trust the hunch. Write down what comes. What you name now becomes real. In the hour it sharpens the sixth sense. Read it as a thin place in the day. Steady yourself so the vision has somewhere to land. It matters because some currents are too fine to survive being reduced. To round it down to two would be to lose the very gift. Honour your sensitivity rather than apologise for it. Do the patient work of giving your visions a body in the ordinary world.

Twenty-Two — The Master Builder
Twenty-Two is the master number of the sacred architect. It is the higher octave of Four. Structure is raised to the scale of a life’s great work. It takes the visionary fire of Eleven. The two gates set side by side. It lays a foundation broad enough to carry it. As the Master Builder it makes the spiritual visible through patient precision. The Oracle keeps it whole rather than reducing it to its root. It governs manifestation on a grand scale. It is the practical visionary. This person can both see the temple and lay its stones. It belongs to the whole closed Tree. The ten sephiroth and the twenty-two paths connect them. The channels through which the worlds are made. Its sphere is the lasting institution. It is the masterwork. It is the construction of something that serves long after its maker is gone.
Its virtue is manifesting the highest vision in material reality. It is the sacred architect. It is capability on a large scale. It is vision wedded to method. It is the rare power to finish what most can only imagine. The shadow is being crushed under the weight of potential. It is the inability to commit to one form. A gift so large overwhelms its bearer. Twenty-Two asks you to build greatly without being broken by the weight. Begin something that will take years. The note sounds in the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet. The Sefer Yetzirah (a sacred Jewish text) names them as the very tools of creation. The twenty-two paths of the Tree of Life sound it. It echoes in the twenty-two Major Arcana of the Tarot. The whole journey from Fool to World is here. Where ordinary Four builds a house, Twenty-Two builds the world entire. It is foundation raised to the cosmic measure. It is the same square set under a temple instead of a wall.
Twenty-Two surfaces when the day, hour, or your reduced minute-number lands on twenty-two. It is held whole rather than reduced to four. When it crowns the day, it marks a day fit for large, lasting work. Write the first sentence. Lay the first brick. Lay foundations you will be glad of years from now. In the hour it lends the power to manifest. Read it as an unusually strong note for turning a vision into something real. Remember the caution: pace yourself against its weight. It matters because vision and foundation are both needed. They rarely meet in one hand. When they do, something enduring becomes possible. Accept the responsibility of a large gift. Build for those who come after. Demand of yourself the long arc.

Thirty-Three — The Master Teacher
Thirty-Three is the rarest of the master numbers. It is three elevens. It is the trinity of Illuminators. It is the higher octave of Six raised until love and service become a cosmic principle. Not a private virtue. It is compassion that has stopped counting the cost. As the Master Teacher it teaches by being rather than by words. It hears all suffering as the call to compassion. The Oracle holds it whole rather than reducing it to its root. It governs selfless service and spiritual uplift. It is the healer. It is the teacher. It is the one who carries others toward the light. It is the solar heart of Six magnified. The traditions call this Christ-consciousness or the Bodhisattva vow. The Sun of Tiphareth shines not for itself. It shines for everyone in its reach. Its sphere is teaching. It is healing. It is mentorship. It is every act of care that asks nothing back.
Its virtue is selfless service. It is compassionate wisdom. It is healing through love. It is the gift of raising others. The shadow is the martyr complex. It is giving beyond capacity. The carrier collapses under what they carry. Service hardens into superiority. Thirty-Three asks you to love without martyrdom. Teach without preaching. Do something for someone with no possible return. The note sounds in the thirty-three years of the Christian teacher’s life. It sounds in the thirty-three vertebrae that crown the spine. Here the body meets the head. The thirty-three degrees of the Scottish Rite ascent toward light sound it. Where ordinary Six tends the household, Thirty-Three tends the world. It is the same loving heart of Tiphareth. It is the same solar gold. It is lifted until it warms more than its own hearth. One note of compassion. It is sung now in a life. Now in a body. Now in a degree of ascent.
Thirty-Three surfaces only rarely. The day, hour, or your reduced minute-number lands on thirty-three. It is held whole rather than reduced to six. When it crowns the day, it marks a day given to others. Teaching. Healing. Lifting someone who is struggling. The day’s reward is in what you give. In the hour it opens the heart wide. Read it as a call to serve from fullness. It is a warning to refill the well before it runs dry. It matters because love at this pitch is rare. It is one of the rarest forces a person can carry. It asks everything of the one who carries it. Give generously without losing yourself. Uplift without standing above. Remember that even the healer must be healed.

The twelve numbers make one full reckoning. Nine of them are the digits everything reduces to. The breath goes from the first spark to the last release. Three are the masters. They are the same notes raised an octave. They are held whole because their gift would be lost in the folding. Each carries an archetype. Each carries a planet. Each carries a sphere on the Tree. So a number in your day is never only a quantity. It is a current with a name.

You did not have to be taught to count. The sequence is already in you. You have a body of two hands and ten fingers. You have a heartbeat that keeps its own time. You have a memory that knows when a thing is begun. You know when it is done. The Numerology surface only tells you which number the day, the hour, and the moment are sounding. It tells you whether it is to be read plainly. Or held at its higher pitch. The number names the current. You supply the day it runs through.
